Job Related Requirements:

1. 2-3 years New Business Sales experience in the Transport and Logistics industry
2. Experience in prospecting for new business
3. Experience in achieving new business targets set
4. Tender Management
5. Experience in selling cross silo solutions
6. Developing and managing a qualified new business pipeline
7. Reporting day to day to the Regional Sales Manager
8. Monthly reporting (where needed / requested)

Electives:

1. Basic understanding of industry supply chains
2. Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail
3. Strong new business development skills

Main Purpose of the Role:
The main purpose of this role is to sign new business for the allocated Branch and meet monthly and annual new business targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Sign new business in the Distribution market for the allocated Region and meet monthly and annual new business targets set.
2. Prospect for new business and develop a qualified pipeline of leads and convert to actual billing sustainable clients.
3. Manage client relationship.
4. Monthly billing and financial reporting.
5. General administrative duties.
6. Represent the DSV brand.
7. Analysis of sales related information and report weekly to Regional Sales Manager.
8. Maintaining client data.
9. Competitor and industry analysis.
10. Assist in tender/proposal production and delivery (preparation and presentation).
11. Create sustainable value for customers by adopting an innovative approach to their business.
12. Ensure required monthly and accumulative targets are met.
13. Implementation and communication of signed business.
14. Management of debtor’s days of signed clients within the company's requirements.
15. Inter department communication.
16. Identifying cross silo solutions and working with other Department heads.
17. Mentoring junior New Business Sales Executive.
18. Ensure all client files are updated and maintained as per the company procedures and Quality Management System.
19. Carry out any other duties as may be requested by Management.
20. Update and maintain the internal CRM System.
21. Meet the expected client call ratio KPI as indicated by your Manager.
