Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher Assistant to support our instructors in delivering engaging and enriching art lessons. This role is perfect for individuals who love art, enjoy working with students, and are eager to contribute to a creative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Assist the lead teacher in setting up materials, organizing supplies, and maintaining a tidy, safe, and inspiring classroom space.
- Student Guidance: Provide hands-on support to students during lessons, helping them with techniques, answering questions, and offering encouragement.
- Preparation & Cleanup: Help prepare for classes by organizing materials, mixing paints, and arranging equipment, as well as cleaning up after lessons.
- Lesson Assistance: Aid in demonstrating art techniques, guiding group activities, and reinforcing instructions given by the lead teacher.
- Individual Support: Offer personalized attention to students who need extra help, fostering their confidence and creativity.
- Event Participation: Assist in setting up exhibitions, workshops, and special events to showcase student work and promote community engagement.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle light administrative duties, such as taking attendance, updating student records, and managing inventory of art supplies.
Qualifications:
- Able to speak both MANDARIN and ENGLISH
- A passion for art and creativity, with basic knowledge of various art techniques and mediums.
- Experience working with children or students (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take direction, work collaboratively, and adapt to classroom dynamics.
- Enthusiastic, patient, and supportive attitude.
