Job Brief:

We are looking for a competent PHP Developer who is capable of understanding and translating the business requirements (user stories) into system development requirements.

During the delivery of a support/development project, you will be required to take ownership of the project from start to finish and complete it within the committed timeline. You will be involved in the entire development cycle but the primary focus will be on the back-end development, integration of server-side APIs, ensuring the high performance of various web applications and ultimately ensuring a great user experience for all developed systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Ability to understand business requirements (user stories) and translate them into development requirements.
2. Design, develop and customize system/software as per business requirements.
3. Develop REST API for external system integrations.
4. Ability to build reusable code for future use.
5. Maintain source code, analyze and fix bugs where necessary.
6. Assure that system is developed to comply with coding standards and secure coding best practices.
7. Optimize application(s) for maximum speed and scalability.

Skills Required:

1. Bachelor's Degree / Diploma / Professional Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years related working experience.
3. Strong knowledge of MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and XML.
4. Proven experience in Zend/Laminas & Symfony frameworks.
5. Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD workflows.
6. Experience in API integration (SOAP, REST, GraphQL).
7. Ability to write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
9. Experience in Magento development would be an added advantage.
