Software Engineer-Jobs in Malaysia

In your new role you will:

1. Provide end-to-end support for assigned global finance applications, including coding, testing, technical design, and solution release.
2. Foster strong relationships with application owners, team members, and stakeholders to ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements and expectations.
3. Develop a deep understanding of assigned finance applications, including code design, business processes, and data flow. This will involve staying up-to-date with application changes, updates, and new developments.
4. Evaluate the effort required to deliver business change requests (CR) and develop solution proposals that meet business requirements.
5. Deliver high-quality solutions within the agreed timeline and scope, ensuring minimal disruption to existing processes. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet their needs and expectations.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all implemented changes and investigation results. This will involve sharing knowledge with team members and stakeholders to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned.
7. Provide daily operational and technical support to application owners, users, and team members on complex technical issues that cannot be resolved by level two (2) support. This will involve root cause analysis, detailed code analysis, and providing data-driven insights to support findings.
8. Identify the root cause of problems or issues, provide investigation findings, and recommend solutions to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

1. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or software engineering, is required.
2. At least one year of working experience in IT, specifically in the domain of software development with PL/SQL, C#.Net, ASP.Net, VBA, or MySQL, is necessary.
3. Proven working experience in the software development lifecycle, strong problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
4. Good communication skills, and attention-to-detail skills are essential to ensure that software works error-free and as intended.
5. Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and priorities is crucial.
6. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders from different departments, ensuring that requirements are clear and results are delivered as expected.

Note: 1-year renewable contract under 3rd party payroll partner and entitled to benefits according to the partner company.
