Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR Admin functions and duties related to foreign workers. Support HR Manager and HOD in operational challenges critical to business sustainability in regards to foreign worker.
- Handle full spectrum of foreign worker matters.
- Manage the entire hiring and onboarding process of foreign workers.
- Coordinate and oversee the application, renewal, and cancellation processes for foreign workers' visas and work permits.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations pertaining to foreign workers, including work permits, visas, and employment contracts (e.g., Employment Act 1955, Act 446).
- Handle foreign workers’ resignation/end of contract / return to home country.
- Liaise with government authorities for foreign worker matters (e.g., Immigration Department, embassies, Jabatan Tenaga Kerja, PERKESO, FWCMS).
- Handle foreign worker disciplinary matters.
- Monitor foreign worker attendance and performance.
- Prepare foreign worker documentation, e.g., employment contract, PPE acknowledgement form, salary deduction form, show cause letter, warning letter, bank opening registration form.
- Send foreign workers to the clinic/hospital when they are unwell, including FOMEMA.
- Manage Non-Malaysian Hostel Management (Renewal of Tenancy, Oversee the Safety, Maintenance and Cleanliness).
- Prepare quarterly Hostel Inspection/Audit report and conduct random spot checks.
- Audit: Ensure all compliance required documentation is in sequence and proper for audit review.
- Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent.
- An eye for details and is meticulous at all times with a highly committed positive work attitude.
- Independent to plan and carry out assigned duties diligently.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, immigration policies, and compliance requirements for foreign workers.
- Able to handle multitasking and pressure well.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to travel and visit local authorities’ offices as and when required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
