Position: Permanent – Full Time

A rare opportunity has arisen for an articulate and engaging candidate with significant Residential Lettings and Property Management experience to become Head of Property Management at a successful independent Estate and Lettings Agency with offices in the Wimbledon area.

You will be overseeing the Property Management department, which is based in Wimbledon and covers the surrounding area.

Your role will be to ensure that outstanding levels of customer service are being delivered to Landlords and Tenants alike.

The role will also involve all aspects of compliance, training, development, management, complaint handling and recruitment within the department. You will have a high level of responsibility, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in residential Property Management and have had people management or supervisory responsibilities as a minimum.

You will possess the skills to effectively manage and develop the team, increase the levels of service, grow the number of managed properties and the profitability of the department whilst upholding and maintaining current legislation and standards.

Candidates who live in the local area and who are both experienced and qualified (ARLA) will be given preferential consideration.

1. Significant previous experience in Property Management
2. Comprehensive supervisory level experience
3. Thorough understanding of Lettings and Property Management procedures
4. ARLA or related qualification preferred
5. Be able to direct, inspire and guide a team
6. Ability to develop and maintain relationships
7. Excellent telephone manner
8. Have superb organisational skills and be able to prioritise workload
9. Be able to work under pressure
10. Have a full UK driving licence
