C# Software Developer – Sheffield (hybrid) - £55K

Adria Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an experienced C# Software Developer to join a well-established company with an international presence. You will report to the Software Development director, working in an Agile team, playing a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of their software product portfolio, as well as developing valuable third-party integrations to their award-winning software platforms.

As a C# Software Developer, you will have good communication and analytic skills, as well as a pro-active attitude. This company is currently evolving and expanding their software product portfolio to hybrid and cloud solutions.

1. Work in an Agile team to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
2. Work with stakeholders to ensure understanding of specifications.
3. Write software of a high standard to deploy into cloud-based and closed networks, meeting our project and product requirements.
4. Develop software in line with software development standards and procedures, communicating new products and continuous improvement ideas/opportunities to the team.
5. Participate in unit, system, and acceptance testing by writing tests and supporting the test team, and support other departments when required.

1. A technical degree or equivalent industry experience.
2. Significant programming experience with C#.
3. Strong ASP.Net Core skills, specifically working with Web API.
4. Experienced with Entity Framework (EF) Core.
5. Familiarity with RESTful fundamentals and principles and Angular practices.
6. Familiar with DDD principles and practices.
7. Experience with cloud platforms and services, Microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
8. Familiarity with Azure DevOps build and deployment pipelines is a bonus.
9. Desirable track record of community participation in meetups, talks, podcasts, etc.
