A biotechnology company in Vancouver is seeking a Utilities Systems Specialist to maintain critical utilities systems in its GMP manufacturing facility. In this role, the specialist will provide technical support for boilers and other utilities equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, holds a Technical Safety BC certification, and possesses a Bachelor’s degree. The position offers a salary range of CAD $80,000 - $95,000, along with comprehensive benefits.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Utilities Systems Specialist to join our Engineering Asset Management team, playing a key role in the operations and maintenance of critical utilities systems in our new GMP manufacturing facility. In this role, based in beautiful Vancouver, you will work closely with manufacturing operations, process engineering, quality and other technical operations functions. You will act as the Chief Boiler Power Engineer, as defined by Technical Safety BC, for our new GMP manufacturing facility and will be the main point of contact with Technical Safety BC, in terms of permit and compliance to requirements.
AbCellera’s hiring range for this role is CAD $80,000 - $95,000 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer equity, annual bonus dependent on team and company performance, and a 6% (non-match) RRSP contribution.
