Responsabilités Essentielles

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) ingénieur(e) mécanique possédant de bonnes compétences en conception. En tant qu’ingénieur concepteur, vous serez responsable de ce qui suit :

  • Exécuter des mandats pour les projets de machines neuves et de réhabilitation en utilisant des directives techniques, des revues de conception et en intégrant les retours d'expérience.
  • Sous la supervision de l’ingénieur chargé de projet, rédiger des rapports et des documents d'ingénierie, y compris des procédures d’essai, des notes de calcul technique, des manuels d'exploitation et d’entretien.
  • Guider des dessinateurs dans la préparation de dessins et des listes de matériel;
  • Collaborer avec les experts pour les retours d’expérience et la validation de la conception
  • Participer à la revue de conception et effectuer le suivi des actions de revue de conception.
  • Supporter l’exécution de projets en collaborant avec la chaîne d'approvisionnement et l’équipe de montage au site.
  • Fournir un support technique au client en coordination avec l’ingénieur intégrateur du projet.
  • Effectuer occasionnellement les visites sur site pour faire une évaluation de l'état de la turbine existante, pour aider à la résolution d’enjeux techniques lors d’activités de montage, ou encore pour superviser divers essais.

Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat en génie mécanique ou diplôme de 2e cycle dans un domaine pertinent, avec moins de 5 années d'expérience professionnelle.
  • Membre de l'Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec, de l’Ontario ou autres provinces Canadiennes.
  • Les candidats à la profession d’ingénieur dûment inscrits à l’OIQ seront aussi considérés.
  • Capacité de travailler en équipe et de communiquer efficacement.
  • Doit être prêt à se soumettre au contrôle préalable à l'embauche, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, la vérification des références et la vérification des antécédents.
  • Doit avoir l’autorisation de travailler au Canada sans restriction
  • Disponibilité pour voyages occasionnels.
  • Maitrise du français et de l’anglais

  • Under the supervision of the project engineer, drafting engineering reports and documents, including test procedures, technical calculation notes, and operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Guiding draftsmen in the preparation of drawings and material lists.
  • Collaborating with experts for feedback and design validation.
  • Participating in design reviews and following up on design review actions.
  • Supporting project execution by collaborating with the supply chain and the on-site assembly team.
  • Providing technical support to the client in coordination with the system integrator engineer.
  • Occasionally visiting sites to assess the condition of existing turbines, assist in resolving technical issues during assembly activities, or supervise various tests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or Masters degree in a relevant discipline, with less than 5 years of professional experience.
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec, Ontario or other Canadian provinces.
  • Candidates to the engineering profession (CPI), duly registered with the OIQ, will also be considered
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment screening, including but not limited to reference and background check.
  • Must have unrestricted Canadian work authorization.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
  • Proficiency in both French and English
