Job title: Medical Delegate Nutrition - Hospital

A day in the life of a Medical Delegate:

1. Apply professional negotiation skills at an advanced level and use the appropriate product, concept knowledge, and research to detail the NIN range to HCPs.

1. Manage the assigned territory of about 250 - 300 HCPs including HCIs in the assigned territory.
2. Achievement of field force effectiveness as per master data management / HCP classification / HCP and HCI segmentation, master schedule planning, HCP call rate, call strike rate, and execution of territory action plans.
3. Execution of “hybrid / remote interaction model.”

1. Application of the Code Management system guiding compliance for all daily activities, to assist the leadership team to ensure that all activities within the team and region comply with the WHO International Code for the marketing of breastmilk substitutes, Nestlé instructions, and the local code.

1. Ensure increased advocacy towards Nestlé Infant Nutrition products and Nestlé Nutrition services when detailing to HCPs and HCIs, through applying the acquired functional competency skills and key account management.
2. Seek and build strategic relationships with key contacts in both private and government sectors.
3. Drive recommendation/advocacy at an institutional level and with healthcare professionals.

1. BSc Dietetics/Nutrition, Nursing, Marketing, or Business Management degree holder.
2. 2 years’ experience in a Medical Delegate role or as a representative in the pharmaceutical industry will be beneficial.
3. Experience with data management using a digital device and intermediate MS Excel experience required.
4. Must have a valid driver’s license.
5. Must be able to speak English fluently – additional languages are beneficial.
6. Must have good planning, organizing, communication, and negotiation skills.
7. Must be able to work independently, be a self-starter, solution-oriented, adaptable, and result-driven.
8. Must be willing to travel (including trips away from home).
9. Computer literate, with MS Office, and intermediate level MS Excel with data analysis experience.
10. Experience with virtual engagement.
