Responsible for the execution and on-time delivery of high-quality creative campaigns across all media touchpoints.

As a senior creative, you will work with our passionate, multi-talented studio delivering on exceptional, integrated concepts and designs to exceed client briefs and expectations.

As a Senior Art Director, you can expect to be craft-led and platform-neutral conceptual thinkers, in particular having an understanding of all major social platforms.

You should have a desire to transform companies by creating beautiful, intuitive, and human-centred products and experiences.

You will be tuned into all aspects of South African popular culture and the platforms and media it plays in, as well as have a strong point of view on what it takes to win in this space.

1. Be a conceptual thinker
2. Be up to date with platforms
3. Manage your creative process on projects
4. Work with other disciplines (Strategists, Developers, Media, Accounts, etc.)
5. Be a champion for creative innovation on every project you touch
6. Participate in pitches for new business
7. Define or apply the aesthetic of overall campaigns
8. Manage multiple projects simultaneously
9. Generate ideas and sell them into clients or other members of the team
10. Mock up creative ideas
11. Design across multiple channels
12. Consistently produce creative elements against a deliverables list
13. Participate in brainstorms & conceptualisation
14. Lead the craft & design of your idea
15. Compile presentations for clients and learn to present
16. Attend client briefings & be prepared to present to clients

1. Tertiary qualification in Art Direction / Graphic Design
2. Must have a minimum of 5-6 years experience, preferably within an advertising agency.
3. Strong conceptual and design skills
4. Proficient in MS Office
5. Knowledge of and experience in Adobe Creative Suite applications
6. Good communication & presentation skills
7. Good multi-tasking skills (ability to work on more than one brief at any given time)
8. Great time management
9. Ability to work under pressure & meet tight deadlines
10. Adopt problem-solving skills
11. Strong communication skills with ability to provide rationales for creative choices made
12. Adequate presentation skills
13. Working knowledge of existing and emerging technologies & platforms
14. A strong understanding of best practice interaction and visual design principles
