Are you a creative and experienced Digital Media Lecturer with a passion for teaching? Our innovative Further Education and Training College in East London is looking for a dedicated Digital Media Lecturer to join their vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and equip the next generation of digital media experts, guiding them through the exciting world of digital technologies, design and media production.

As a Digital Media Lecturer, you will be required to deliver high-quality lessons across a range of digital media subjects, including graphic design, web development, video production and more. You'll help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the ever-evolving digital world.

Key Duties:

1. Deliver engaging lessons in Digital Media, covering areas such as design, video production, multimedia and web development.
2. Design and develop teaching materials that engage students and encourage creativity and innovation.
3. Provide constructive feedback to students, enhancing their development and academic success.
4. Assess and monitor student progress, ensuring each learner reaches their full potential.
5. Contribute to the wider digital media culture within the college and take part in extracurricular activities.
6. Work with colleagues to maintain high academic standards and develop the curriculum.

Requirements:

1. A UK-recognised teaching qualification (such as PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
2. A degree or equivalent qualification in Digital Media, Multimedia or a related field (essential).
3. Experience in teaching Digital Media at a further education level (preferred).
4. Strong knowledge of current trends and technologies in digital media.
5. Proficiency in relevant digital tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro or similar.
6. A mandatory requirement for an enhanced DBS check on the update service.
