Job Title: Plantation Manager
We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee and manage all aspects of our plantation, including estate operations and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct variance studies on annual Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) production and implement plans to maximize land and manpower productivity.
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategies to meet productivity targets, control costs, and optimize resource management.
- Prepare and submit regular performance reports, including yield, labor management, financials, and other key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, environmental guidelines, and sustainability standards.
- Manage estate operations, including nursery, plasma farmers, land preparation, field maintenance, harvesting, transport, and infrastructure development.
- Lead a large and diverse workforce, promoting operational efficiency and effective team management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Plantation Management or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a related position in reputable oil palm plantation companies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of leading a large workforce.
- High integrity and substantial experience in oil palm development from jungle would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to improve estate performance.
Additional Requirements:
- Proficient in using personal computers.
- Will to relocate to Kalimantan, Indonesia.
- Experience working in Indonesian plantations is highly valued.
Compensation Package:
A competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
