AWS Cloud Engineer:
Location: KL
1st year contract, after that will convert to permanent

1. Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
2. Monitor AWS services and resources using tools like AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config to proactively identify and resolve issues.
3. Implement and manage automation solutions for provisioning, deployment, and scaling of AWS resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
4. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patch management, backup and recovery, system updates, etc. to keep AWS environments up to date and secure.
5. Respond to incidents and alerts, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure service continuity.
6. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability in AWS environments.
7. Implement and enforce security controls and compliance measures in AWS environments, including IAM policies, security groups, and encryption mechanisms.
8. Participate in capacity planning and resource optimization activities to ensure cost-effective use of AWS resources.
9. Document infrastructure and application configurations, operational procedures, best practices, and troubleshooting guides to support knowledge sharing and training within the organization.
10. Stay current with AWS services, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in operations processes and procedures.
11. Implement cost-saving measures and monitor cloud spending.
12. Plan and execute cloud migration strategies for existing applications.
13. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, network engineers, etc. to execute project deliverables on time and within budget.

Min 8 years of working experience with 5 years of AWS Cloud experience.
