AWS DevOps (Sr. Exec / Team Lead)

Your New Company –

My client is an IT company based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. They specialize in cutting-edge digital solutions while offering a range of services including managed services, big data, mobile and web application development.

They are seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer carrying a min of 3 years of experience who will be responsible for managing and enhancing the existing Cloud Infrastructure, streamlining the CI/CD processes, and automating workflows.

Your New Role –

In this role, you will be overseeing –

1. Designing, implementing, maintaining Cloud Infrastructure on AWS to ensure high availability and performance.
2. Managing and optimizing Kubernetes using EKS.
3. Implementing and managing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
4. Implementing auto-scaling and cost-optimization.
5. Administering DBs including MySQL and Redis, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.

What you’ll need to succeed –

1. Degree in IT or similar field.
2. Min of 3 years of hands-on experience in a Cloud-DevOps role.
3. Strong hands-on experience in AWS (EC2, S3, EFS, RDS, ASG, VPC, Security (IAM, KMS, Sec Group), etc.).
4. Proficiency in managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters.
5. Experience with Dockers for containerization and orchestration.
6. Good experience with building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD Pipelines via Jenkins, Code Pipeline, Code Build, and Code Deploy.
7. Writing with CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
8. Proficient in the ELK stack for monitoring and logging purposes.
9. Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or Shell for automation works.
