Job Requirements:
- Possess minimum a Diploma in Pastry & Baking, Culinary, Hospitality, Hotel/ F&B Management, Food Service, Catering or other relevant fields with 2-3 years working experience in restaurant management. Preferably candidate has a Bachelors in the cited fields.
- Preferably, candidates with experience of pastry and bakery operations.
- Preferably, candidates with experience in new outlet opening and brand launching.
- Customers and service oriented.
- Good human skills and communication skills (written & oral).
- Well-groomed appearance, pleasant, courteous, and friendly.
- Good discipline, planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling skills.
- Leadership skills - supervising & ability to train and monitor progress.
- Good judgment and decision-making ability.
- Responsibility for resources — time management, physical asset, people & finance.

Job Description
1. Operational
1.1 Customer Focus
- Ensuring outstanding customer service by maintaining speed of service, etiquette, and food quality to exceed customer satisfaction.
- Greet customers with smiles, suggesting and upselling items, and providing complementary closing as per standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Handle and resolve customer complaints promptly and courteously, ensuring a personalized and professional approach.
- Analyze customer feedback to identify trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Providing staff training on effectively handling challenging situations such as customer complaints or service disruptions.
1.2 Operations
- Providing leadership and guidance to ensure effective daily café operations.
- Ensuring full compliance with SOP and regulatory standards.
- Organizing and supervising team briefings on a daily basis.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the café.
- Monitoring and minimizing wastages, breakages, pilferage and food quality variance.
- Ensuring timely completion of administrative paperwork and compliance with company regulations.
- Developing contingency plans to handle emergencies or unexpected events effectively.
2. Management
2.1 Team Management
- Managing the hiring and recruitment process, including sourcing, screening and selecting qualified candidates.
- Monitoring the performance of team members, ensuring adherence to job scope, standards and SOP.
- Provide on-the-job training and support to new and existing team members.
- Assist in establishing performance management systems and conducting performance evaluations.
- Support in implementing comprehensive training programs focusing on customer service and operational procedures.
2.2 Training and Development
- Assist in coaching and developing leaders and team members through mentorship programs.
- Support in implementing cross-training initiatives to broaden team members' skill sets.
- Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the training department for advice and support on training initiatives.
- Assist in driving action plans to achieve sales targets.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Foster a sales-centric culture among team members to maximize sales opportunities.
- Work with the team to enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction.
3.2 Profit
- Support in driving action plans to achieve profit targets.

- Assist in conducting cost analysis and implementing strategies to control costs.
- Utilize sales data and financial analysis to forecast future profit potential.

- Assist in upholding the brand's standards for service, food quality and atmosphere.
- Educate team members on the brand's values and mission.
- Maintain the physical appearance of the café to align with the brand's aesthetic.
- Support new outlet openings and product launches to ensure success.
