MET Technician

Avant Recruit are proud to be partnering with our client, a market leader within the Accident Repair industry. We are currently searching for an MET Technician. This role is offered on a permanent basis with excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Carry out body repairs on various vehicle brands.
2. Mechanical, electrical and trim work including part replacement, stripping and fitting / ADAS calibrations / reset / steering columns / racks / subframes / suspension.
3. Damaged / defective part reporting during the repair process.
4. Checking new part lists.
5. Follow correct repair methods as per manufacturer.
6. Liaise with Parts Department and VDA.
7. Follow checklists for quality control - lights, alignment, electrics etc.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Be a minimum of Level 1 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair - IMI, City & Guilds or similar.
2. Happy working in a busy environment.
