Job description
MET Technician
Avant Recruit are proud to be partnering with our client, a market leader within the Accident Repair industry. We are currently searching for an MET Technician. This role is offered on a permanent basis with excellent benefits and a competitive salary.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out body repairs on various vehicle brands.
- Mechanical, electrical and trim work including part replacement, stripping and fitting / ADAS calibrations / reset / steering columns / racks / subframes / suspension.
- Damaged / defective part reporting during the repair process.
- Checking new part lists.
- Follow correct repair methods as per manufacturer.
- Liaise with Parts Department and VDA.
- Follow checklists for quality control - lights, alignment, electrics etc.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be a minimum of Level 1 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair - IMI, City & Guilds or similar.
- Happy working in a busy environment.
