An established industry player is seeking a skilled LEV Technician to join their team in Ware. This role involves delivering both planned and reactive maintenance on local exhaust ventilation systems, including Biological Safety Cabinets and Fume Cupboards. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in LEV systems, demonstrating expertise in installation, maintenance, and testing. 3+ years of experience in an LEV position.
Proven experience in installation, maintenance, and testing of LEV systems.

Deliver planned and reactive work related to local exhaust ventilation.
Perform DOP testing and maintenance on various LEV devices.

LEV systems understanding

Salary: Up to 45k basic annual

Resourcing Group is working with FM Companies responsible for managing a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance contracts across the UK.

Main Duties

The delivery of planned and reactive work relating to local exhaust ventilation on site. Work will include but is not limited to: Biological Safety Cabinets, Fume Cupboards, Ventilated Enclosures, and On-tool extraction.

Experience in a related industry, performing DOP testing on all varieties of equipment including calibration, repairs, and surveys of LEV devices consisting mainly of Class 2 Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC), AFOS ventilated tables, Protex ventilated workstations, fume cupboards, downflow booths, and isolators, KI Discus together with some miscellaneous LEV devices.

Demonstrate a good understanding of current standards and testing methods related to LEV systems, Safety Cabinets, Fume Cupboards, Ventilated Enclosures, and other systems on site.

What We Are Looking For

Experience:

3+ years in an LEV position
Understand and be able to describe the principles and the main elements of a LEV system
Familiarity with the diverse range of assets attributed to LEV systems on site as well as connected main systems
Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and testing of LEV systems
