Join Us
At Vodafone, we're not just shaping the future of connectivity for our customers - we're shaping the future for everyone who joins our team. When you work with us, you're part of a global mission to connect people, solve complex challenges, and create a sustainable and more inclusive world. If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.
Role Purpose
Help us 'Create the Future' (one of Vodafone's key Spirit behaviours) as we build and scale our new Network API team. The team's purpose is to deliver API products that unlock the value of our technology assets and meet the needs of a new customer - the Developer. We will do this by designing and building a new suite of API products to be scaled across Vodafone markets, commercialising the APIs to maximise value, and growing our channel and portal capabilities to ensure the product gets in the hands of the customer.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an empowered team which operates as an agile start-up, whilst equally benefiting from the scale and recognition of a global brand. We are looking for a disruptor who is ready to change the way our business operates and who will help shape the set-up of our new Network API team.
The Network API team has accountability across all Vodafone markets for directly monetisable APIs and has the single view out to all customers via the Developer Marketplace portal. It is critical that the team has a clear interface with the wider business for API onboarding and in-life performance so that we can maximise the commercial potential.
Network APIs are a key area of strategic revenue growth for Vodafone. We are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager who will provide a sharp focus on the commercial potential and performance across the area and deliver this insight into key stakeholders. The role also leads and owns the Network API P&L, team budget and all investments.
The role will require you to collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders across the Group Commercial, Enterprise and Consumer units, leading and driving initiatives involving commercial sales, finance, product owners, and technical experts. Given the embryonic nature of network API pricing, it will be necessary to collaborate with industry forums to lead and influence API pricing approaches and charging models.

• Experience working with P&L accounts and team budgetary management.
• Comfortable delivering analytics and insights to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to problem solve and communicate with clarity.
• Be a great collaborator and use gravitas to co-ordinate initiatives across key internal teams (Commercial, Finance, Product, Technical).
• Curiosity around digital and comfortable challenging the status quo.
What's in it for you
• Yearly bonus: 20%
• Company car: company funded car of £580 per month or cash alternative of £630
• Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year
