Interim Commercial Finance Manager

Job description

My client based in Solihull are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to support them on a 12 month FTC. This role will support with financial planning, performance monitoring, and financial modelling, and is responsible for providing financial challenge to both the commercial and operational teams.

Key responsibilities:

1. Model revenues for budgets, forecasts, and 3-year plans.
2. Work closely with the commercial team to monitor pipelines.
3. Manage revenues against forecast and identify any variances.
4. Analyse and understand sales trends, and model strategic options.
5. Contribute to operational reviews, providing insights and financial analysis.
6. Provide any other ad-hoc financial support to the commercial and operational teams as required.
7. Collaborate with the commercial accounting team to produce month-end results.
8. Assist with commercial negotiations, offering financial expertise.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

1. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a minimum of 5 years PQE.
2. Strong experience in financial modelling.
3. Advanced Excel skills are essential, and the ability to work with large volumes of data is required.
4. Excellent analytical skills.
