Role: Finance Manager

Reports to: Head of Finance

Location: London or Malta

A rapidly growing iGaming business is on the lookout for a dynamic and driven Finance Manager to join a high-performing finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you’ll play a key role in evolving our finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and more.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Lead the preparation of monthly management reports, continually improving reporting standards to meet world-class expectations.
3. Analyze key financial trends in revenue and costs, leveraging your strategic mindset to help optimize profitability and steer business direction.
4. Collaborate with the Head of Finance to manage budgeting and forecasting across all departments (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
5. Contribute to financial systems development that supports business growth and enhances operational efficiency.
6. Review and enhance internal processes and controls to ensure streamlined, effective operations.
7. Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency in finance processes.
8. Take on special projects as assigned by the Head of Finance, helping to meet the ever-evolving demands of the business.

1. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze complex financial data.
2. Proactive problem-solver with a drive to continuously improve efficiency and processes.
3. Critical thinker who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
4. Versatility — you're adaptable and thrive in situations where “one size doesn’t fit all.”
5. Proven financial reporting experience, including ownership of end-to-end month-end close cycles.
6. Leadership capabilities, with experience managing teams and cultivating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
7. Excellent communicator, able to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders with ease.
8. Highly organized, with the ability to meet deadlines and stay on top of multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
9. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software/tools (e.g., Xero, Anaplan).
10. ACA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
11. 5+ years of experience in finance, ideally in the iGaming or cryptocurrency sectors (this is a bonus!).
