We're working in partnership with a local authority in the Hackney area, who are searching for an experienced HR Business Partner to work within the Education / Schools Department.

Contract: Initially 4-6 months, with potential for a permanent role.

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.

Location: E8. (Hybrid working will be available)

Pay Rate: Starting from £29+ per hour (Negotiable based on experience).

• Work in partnership with key decision-makers within the Trust and schools, providing professional high-quality HR advice and support to ensure that effective people management contributes to raising standards of organisational effectiveness.
• Provide a high-quality, comprehensive service within the Trust and to schools in accordance with agreements in place.
• Provide accurate and effective advice and support to enable management in the Trust and schools to deal with a broad range of people management matters including recruitment, employee relations, performance, and attendance.
• Manage complex individual cases and transformational change processes, providing specialist advice and guidance in workforce planning and organisational design.
• Provide high-quality HR advice to staff within the Trust.
• Work with the Head of Human Resources to ensure policies and procedures are reviewed and updated in line with the legislative framework and best practice.
• Fully integrate equality issues, best practice, and best value within all aspects of service delivery.

• Local Authority / Public Sector background.
• HR Business Partner experience.
• Experience in the Education Sector.

• CIPD qualified or equivalent.
