Job description

The HRBP will be supporting approximately 200 staff members. This HR generalist position involves:

  1. Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, policies, and procedures.
  2. Providing advice to managers on Employee Relations, restructures, and sickness management.
  3. Managing a high volume of complex Employee Relations cases.
  4. Overseeing performance and operational HR activities within a business partner model.

Location: Covering two sites in Croydon and Redhill, with 1-2 days per week at each site and 1-2 days working from home (WFH).

Type: 6-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) with potential for Temp-to-Perm.

Start Date: ASAP.

What you'll need to succeed
  1. Proven experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong focus on Employee Relations (ER).
  2. Ability to manage high-volume and complex ER cases efficiently.
  3. Skilled in advising managers on a range of HR matters, including restructures, sickness absence, and performance management.
  4. Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
  6. Flexibility to work across multiple sites and adapt to a hybrid working model.
  7. Available to start at short notice.
