Are you a Computer and Network Technician with more than 3 years of experience in infrastructure management? Do you want to join a growing team in a multi-site environment?

In this position you effectively resolve IT incidents, document actions, collaborate with internal teams, and participate in company initiatives. You ensure the maintenance and problem solving of our organization’s users’ computers as well as the stability of networks, thus ensuring efficient IT and network operations. You will work closely with other IT staff to plan and implement computer and network upgrades.

This role also involves installing, configuring, and supporting the organization’s local computers and assisting in the support area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems. Exposure to Azure and Office 365 will be an additional responsibility.

Main responsibilities:

• Maintain and resolve problems related to computer equipment and networks.
• Assist users in resolving software and hardware issues.
• Ensure regular PC maintenance such as firmware updates, patch management and backups via a remote management tool.
• Assist in the installation and configuration of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls and servers.
• Install and configure operating systems, network services and applications on PCs.
• Ensure network security measures are appropriate and up-to-date.
• Provide technical support to users, resolving issues related to network connectivity, hardware and software.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to users.
• Maintain detailed records of user issues and resolutions in the support ticket system.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, network adapters and system modifications.
• Manage the telephone system and cell phones.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IT strategies and projects.
• Exposure to Azure and Office 365.

• Diploma of college studies (DEC) in information technology or a related field (bachelor’s degree in IT – an asset).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Practical experience in PC management and installation.

• Excellent sense of organization and priorities.
