Senior Data Engineer — Snowflake & Data Pipelines (Hybrid)
Job summary
A leading health technology company based in Toronto is seeking a Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines and products. You will work closely with the Senior Data Architect to drive data reliability and automation, primarily using Snowflake. The ideal candidate has 4-8 years of experience in data engineering, strong SQL and Python skills, and expertise in modern cloud data platforms. The role offers a hybrid work model and competitive compensation.
Qualifications
- 4–8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience delivering production data pipelines.
- Experience building on modern cloud data platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
- Ability to implement observability: logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data products.
- Implement transformations and modeling using SQL.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workloads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
