Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Route Sales Representative (RSR) will be responsible for driving the delivery truck (3 to 12 tons) and selling the full range of products offered in all categories of the bottled water business. This role requires the ability to lift cartons of water off the truck and deliver them to the customer’s location either by hand or via a trolley.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate a Route Delivery Truck (3 to 12 tons) in a safe manner.
2. Work in hot weather while lifting heavy weights.
3. Possess good knowledge of UAE roads.
4. Achieve monthly & yearly budget in terms of volume & revenue.
5. Work during public holidays and weekends as per operational requirements with eligibility for overtime.
6. Report at work by 7:00AM and be in the market by 9:00AM or as directed by the Line Manager.
7. Check truck stock in the morning; ensure physical stock matches system stock.
8. Maintain Pallet Log Sheet daily and ensure return of the same quantity of pallets taken.
9. Visit customers and deliver products based on route size assigned by the Line Manager.
10. Perform accurate invoicing as per company and sales policy.
11. Ensure correct pricing to customers based on contractual agreements.
12. Issue FOC’s in compliance with company and sales policy.
13. Open and sell to new and existing customers; collect payments for sales transactions.
14. Build strong relationships with customers.
15. Report truck damage and accidents with police report; check truck registration and Dubai Municipality Card availability.
16. Maintain vehicle log sheet daily.
17. Use company assets properly as directed by Line Manager.
18. Prepare daily/monthly visit reports.
19. Update Line Manager on weekly/monthly competitor reports.
20. Follow workplace safety and health instructions and procedures.
21. Report any injury, illness, unsafe acts, or conditions immediately.
