Hiring for Floor Manager to work in Qatar.
Job summary
A leading dining establishment in Dubai is seeking an experienced Floor Manager to oversee restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have over 35 years of experience in high-volume casual or fine-casual dining environments. Responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and optimizing service processes. Knowledge of FOH operations and experience in GCC countries are preferred. Fluency in English is mandatory, with Hindi and Malayalam as a plus. This position demands strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum 35 years of experience as a Floor Manager or Restaurant Supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of FOH operations and service protocols.
- Fluency in English; Hindi and Malayalam are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate servers and support staff.
- Maintain high standards of guest service.
- Optimize table turnover through effective management.
Skills
- Supervise and coordinate the performance of servers, captains, hosts and support staff
- Maintain consistent high standards of guest service, including timely resolution of feedback and complaints
- Optimize table turnover and seating capacity by managing reservations, walk‑ins and guest flow
- Enforce strict adherence to staff grooming, hygiene and uniform standards
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
- Monitor POS system functionality, billing accuracy and cash handling procedures
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, health regulations and Qatar municipality requirements
- Support management with daily reporting, duty roster planning and inventory coordination
- Minimum 35 years of experience as a Floor Manager or Restaurant Supervisor in a high‑volume casual or fine‑casual dining environment
- Proven track record of managing FOH teams in fast‑paced restaurant settings
- Prior experience working in Qatar or other GCC countries is highly preferred
- In‑depth knowledge of FOH operations, service protocols and guest experience management
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Hindi and Malayalam is an advantage
- Kerala background preferred.
Minimum 35 years of relevant experience as a Floor Manager / Restaurant Supervisor in a busy casual or fine‑casual dining restaurant. Prior work experience in Qatar or GCC countries is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of FOH operations, service standards and customer handling. Good leadership, communication and team‑management skills. Fluency in English. Hindi and Malayalam an advantage. Kerala (Keralite) background preferred.
