Job Purpose
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company’s logistics activities, focusing on fleet management, driver coordination, third-party transporter relations, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations. This role will optimize delivery plans, reduce costs, and maintain operational efficiency.

1. Manage the company’s fleet, including vans, buses, trailers, salon cars, and leased vehicles.
2. Ensure timely renewals of vehicle licenses, insurance, and registrations.
3. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to minimize downtime.
4. Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and operational efficiency.
5. Coordinate repairs and servicing for vehicles experiencing breakdowns.
6. Manage leasing contracts, ensuring compliance with terms, renewals, and returns.
7. Ensure vehicles meet all UAE regulatory transportation standards.

1. Communicate with third-party transport providers to ensure cost-effective and reliable service.
2. Negotiate contracts and rates with transporters to meet delivery requirements.
3. Monitor third-party transporter performance and resolve service issues.
4. Coordinate with leasing companies for vehicle replacement or maintenance.
5. Maintain records for leased vehicles, including usage and cost tracking.

1. Supervise and coordinate all logistics drivers, ensuring adherence to schedules.
2. Assign daily routes to maximize trips and reduce idle time.
3. Provide ongoing driver training on safety, regulations, and best practices.
4. Monitor driver behavior and ensure compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
5. Prepare performance reports for drivers on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
6. Address driver grievances or disciplinary issues promptly.

1. Develop and implement daily delivery plans based on customer and production schedules.
2. Coordinate with the warehouse team for timely dispatch and delivery.
3. Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
4. Ensure timely submission of logistics reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).
5. Stay up-to-date with UAE laws and regulations related to logistics operations and ensure compliance.

1. Monitor logistics expenses to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
2. Negotiate favorable maintenance and leasing agreements with vendors and leasing companies.
3. Reduce operational waste through improved processes and better driver management.

1. Maintain a fleet management system for tracking vehicles, maintenance, and performance.
2. Develop a contingency plan for emergency situations such as vehicle breakdowns or driver unavailability.
3. Collaborate with the procurement team for vehicle purchases or contracts.
4. Ensure drivers and vehicles are properly equipped with tools, safety equipment, and necessary permits.
5. Oversee the documentation and record-keeping for all fleet, driver, and third-party transporter activities.

1. Proven experience in logistics or fleet management, preferably in the UAE.
2. In-depth knowledge of UAE transportation regulations, distribution permits, and leasing practices.
3. Strong leadership and people management skills.
4. Proficiency in data analysis and report generation.
5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
6. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
7. Experience in managing third-party transporters and leasing companies.
8. Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
9. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and fleet management software.
10. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
