We are seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Manager to join our team. The Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping. They are responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods through the warehouse while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and productivity. The Warehouse Manager also leads and motivates the warehouse team to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Management:
- Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
- Oversee receiving, inspecting, and documenting inbound shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Manage inventory levels, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations, to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Utilize inventory management software to track inventory movements, monitor stock levels, and generate reports for analysis.
- Plan and coordinate warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize storage capacity and streamline workflow.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and EHS regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all warehouse personnel.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Order Fulfilment and Shipping:
- Coordinate order processing, picking, packing, and shipping activities to meet customer delivery requirements and service level agreements.
- Ensure accurate and on-time fulfilment of customer orders while minimizing errors and delays.
- Collaborate with Logistics Department for transit times and delivery schedules.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to order status, delivery issues, and product availability.
Continuous Improvement and Performance Metrics:
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fill rates, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and labour productivity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains through data analysis and operational reviews.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence, such as KAIZEN or LEAN.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and logistics dept, to optimize supply chain performance and customer satisfaction.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and career growth.
