We are looking to hire an experienced Physical Education Teacher having 13 experience for a reputable School in Al Ain.

The Physical Education Teacher (PE) is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive physical education program that promotes physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and social skills among students. The PE Teacher will teach a variety of physical activities and foster an environment that encourages students to engage in physical exercise and sports.

• Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging physical education curricula that meet state and national standards.
• Instruction: Teach a variety of physical activities including sports, fitness and health education tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
• Assessment: Evaluate student progress through tests, observations and assessments to monitor fitness levels and skill development.
• Safety: Ensure a safe environment by teaching proper techniques, enforcing safety rules and conducting regular equipment checks.
• Motivation: Inspire and motivate students to participate in physical activities and foster a lifelong appreciation for fitness.
• Collaboration: Work with other teachers, coaches and staff to promote a holistic approach to student health and wellness.
• Communication: Maintain open communication with students and parents regarding progress, participation and any concerns.
• Professional Development: Stay updated on new teaching methods, sports and health trends through workshops and professional development opportunities.
• Extracurricular Activities: Organize and oversee extracurricular activities such as sports teams, fitness clubs or health awareness events.
• Behaviour Management: Foster a positive learning environment by implementing effective classroom management strategies.

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licensure in physical education.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).

• 13 years experience in teaching physical education at the elementary, middle or high school level (preferred).
• Involvement in coaching or leading extracurricular sports or fitness activities (preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students effectively, parents and staff.
• Ability to develop engaging lesson plans and adapt to varying skill levels.
• Knowledge of various sports, fitness activities and health education in classroom management techniques and fostering a positive learning environment.

• Passion for physical fitness and promoting healthy lifestyles.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to participate in physical activities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Capability to demonstrate physical activities and engage in active supervision.
• Ability to lift and move sports equipment as needed.
