Context & Environment
Internal :
Interaction with Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, Sales, Human Resource, Others - employee etc.,.
External :
Interaction with SSC, SAP & Themis Consultants ,Group Treasury, banks.
Activities
- Management of end to end banking relationships
- Management of all payment cycles, issuance of banking instruments (BLG, LCs) including compliance review and processing in systems (Themis, Bank's online payments tools, Cheques etc.) .
- Close coordination with SSC team to post & record all transactions and interbank transfer.
- Responsible for cheques : printing, safe custody, maintain cheque register in SAP, monitor & record new cheque books.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Payable, Payroll, Capex and Receivables team for all payments and collections forecast.
- Update of all treasury schedules : PDC Issued Register, Bank charges control, TLBU loan, TEMUAE loan, EIBOR, Intercompany Invoices, Forex GL, Euro Payment Projection, Weekly Balances etc.
- Follow internal & external procedures including but not limited to signatories management, online profiles, opening and closing bank accounts, coordinating with THEMIS and SAP teams, compliance, Archiving etc.
- Reconciliation of bank GLs (SAP Vs Bank Statement)
- To coordinate with Legal, credit control, procurement, sales and bank on reviewing incoming customer guarantees, supplier's advance payment bank guarantees
- To prepare and submit yearly reporting to Company including Gerico and Financing plan
- Manage foreign exchange rates, hedging payments as required from time to time and in line with internal procedures.
- Supervise Preparation of Annual Budget or closing forecast / LTP etc. : - by making relevant schedules, gathering information, compiling data for a profit center
- Supervise monthly analysis of all relevant Profit & Loss and Balance sheet accounts, making different reconciliations necessary for closing and Audit works.
- Ensure that the monthly analysis, KPI reports, Cash Flow, Working Capital, ROACE, other reports etc., are generated
- Responsible for :
- management and controlling overdraft interest and other bank related charges.
- recording all bank entries; Vat Refund on bank charges entries in SAP.
Operational Objectives
- Monthly reporting, analysis, schedules, presentation as per the reporting calendar and management requirement
- Monitor and ensure optimize utilization of the banking facilities and available funds.
- Preparation of the monthly / daily Cash flow statements and forecasts.
- Validation of entire Payments & related Treasury activities handled by SSC

- Actively identify potential compliance or ethical risks in day-to-day activities and elevate them promptly.
- Consistently follow internal policies, including the ESEC compliance program, anti-corruption and fraud policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
- Declare any potential situations in line with company policy.
Candidate Profile
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of cash management , banking operations, FX, hedging.
- Relevant experience in Treasury matters , dealing with local and multinational banks and working on bank portals.
- Good knowledge of ERP (SAP-FICO module)
- Strong knowledge and implementation of experience of IFRS

- Strong accounting & analytical skills.

- Attention to details and accuracy with numbers
- Able to work with team to meet strict deadlines
- English language proficiency, Russian language proficiency (an strong advantage for the Kazakhstan entity) and French (an added advantage)
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Accounting & Finance functions.
Education
- MBA in Finance and a Chartered Accountant, Postgraduate / Professional qualification in Finance / Accounting.
