As a Solution Architect, your day will be focused on designing and delivering robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that meet complex business needs. You will engage directly with customers to understand their technical and operational requirements, translating these into end-to-end architectures that span networking, network security, cloud platforms, and modern data center environments. From conceptual design to detailed specifications, you will ensure every solution aligns with enterprise standards and industry best practices.

You will lead the creation of technical plans, proposals, and financial models, supporting pre‑sales engagements and RFP responses. Your role involves simplifying complex technical concepts for business stakeholders, presenting clear value propositions around ROI, TCO, and performance optimization. You will also drive proof‑of‑concepts, validate designs, and coordinate with internal delivery teams to ensure feasibility and successful implementation.

Beyond solutioning, you will monitor emerging technologies, contribute to go‑to‑market strategies, and maintain strong relationships with leading vendors across networking, security, and cloud ecosystems. Your expertise in architecture design, governance, and risk assessment will position you as a trusted advisor, enabling clients to achieve resilience, scalability, and innovation in their IT environments.

• Contributes to the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas.
• Identifies and evaluates alternative architectures and the trade‑offs in cost, performance and scalability.
• Produces specifications of cloud‑based or on‑premises components, tiers and interfaces, for translation into detailed designs using selected services and products.
• Supports a change programme or project through the preparation of technical plans and application of design principles that comply with enterprise and solution architecture standards.
• Takes responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution.
• Monitors the external environment to gather intelligence on emerging technologies.
• Creates reports and technology roadmaps and shares knowledge and insights with others.
• Designs components using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed architectures, design standards, patterns and methodology.
• Creates multiple design views to address the concerns of the different stakeholders of the architecture and to handle both functional and non‑functional requirements, including proof of concept (POC).
• Reviews, verifies and improves own designs against specifications.
• Contribute to the development of new go‑to‑market services and contributes knowledge on relevant verticals.
• Operates across both the technical levels within the enterprise architecture and the value chain in order to develop holistic and integrated solutions.

• Engage with customers to understand business, technical, and operational requirements.
• Develop end‑to‑end technical solutions covering Networking, Network Security, Cloud, and Data Center.
• Build designs, architectures, and Bills of Quantities (BoQ) aligned with customer needs.
• Create proposals, presentations, and technical documentation for pre‑sales engagements.
• Develop financial models, pricing estimates, and cost analyses for proposed solutions.
• Support sales teams with technical expertise during customer meetings and RFP/RFI responses.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language when presenting to executives.
• Assist in proof‑of‑concepts (PoC) and solution demonstrations.
• Drive solution validation, risk assessment, and architectural governance.
• Coordinate with internal delivery/engineering teams to ensure feasibility and alignment.

• Strong expertise in Networking (routing, switching, WAN, LAN, SD‑WAN).
• Hands‑on experience with Network Security technologies (NGFW, IPS, VPN, Zero Trust).
• Deep understanding of Cloud platforms – Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Ability to design full Data Center architectures, including disaster recovery (DR) and high availability.
• Skilled in infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, resilience, and performance design.
• Ability to design full end‑to‑end architecture (A–Z) across compute, storage, network, and security.

• Networking: Cisco, HPE, Dell
• Security: Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, F5, Check Point
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure, AWS
• Familiar with vendor ecosystems, programs, certifications, and solution positioning.

• Excellent communication skills – able to speak to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Ability to articulate ROI, TCO, business outcomes, and value propositions.
• Strong presentation, documentation, and proposal‑writing skills.
• Ability to influence customer decisions through consultative engagement.

• Strong vendor relationship management and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple pre‑sales engagements simultaneously.
• Self‑driven, technically curious, and able to operate with minimal supervision.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE, NSE, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect) are a strong plus.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or business or a related field.
• Certification and working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies (for example, TOGAF, Zachman, SOA, ITIL, COBIT, etc.).
• Safe Scaled Agile certification advantageous.

• Seasoned professional technical, IT or Operations experience within a large scale (preferably multi‑national) technology services environment on the following areas: Software development, Application Support and Infrastructure Support.
• Seasoned project or program management experience would be preferred but not essential.
• Seasoned client engagement and consulting experience coupled with solid experience in client needs assessment and change management.
• Seasoned experience in integrating the solution for the particular project with the business domain, enterprise concerns, industry standards, established patterns and best practices.
• Seasoned experience working in an agile development environment.
• Seasoned experience in developing, selling and delivering technical solutions.
