Job Description:

Our client is affiliated with a venerable organization with a 75-year history of successful involvement in commercial enterprises, charitable activities, and community development. Their areas of focus encompass construction, oil and gas, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, and related industries. The company is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer who will be responsible for space planning, architecture, construction drawings, interior design, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) across various project types. The Interior Designer will work closely with clients to bring their vision to life, ensuring all designs meet the projects budget, timeline, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit job sites to analyze space availability, design needs, and the purpose of the space.
• Attend client meetings to understand design preferences and client requirements regarding interior styles and colors.
• Create initial design sketches, color themes, and ideas based on client input and space availability.
• Prepare CAD designs and detailed project briefs after obtaining client approval.
• Oversee the procurement of raw materials and items required to complete the project.
• Arrange client site visits and provide updates to all stakeholders on the project's progress.
• Ensure that all projects are completed within the allocated budget and timelines.
• Collaborate with construction teams and supervise the installation process to ensure alignment with design specifications.
• Stay up to date on current trends, new materials, and innovations in the interior design industry.

Qualifications:

• Proven skills in space planning, architecture, and construction drawings.
• Strong experience in interior design and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment).
• Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive design plans that meet client expectations.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate ideas into client-friendly presentations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software.
• Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in interior design, ideally in the UAE.
