We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Strategist to develop, implement, and manage innovative social media strategies that drive engagement, enhance brand awareness, and support business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media trends, content strategies, analytics, and audience engagement across multiple platforms.
What You’ll Do
Marketing as a Service Growth & Execution
- Drive 30% growth in Marketing as a Service (MaaS) campaigns by optimising content strategy and execution for brands on Bash.
- Successfully manage content execution for partner brands, ensuring brand consistency, engagement, and measurable ROI.
- Develop data-driven content strategies to improve ad performance and customer engagement across paid and organic campaigns.
Social Channel Leadership & Viral Content- Maintain Bash’s position as the fastest-growing social platform in its category.
- Deliver 3-5 viral mechanics monthly to drive engagement, user-generated content, and follower growth.
- Leverage platform trends and audience insights to sustain high engagement and visibility across social channels.
Tactical Brand & Product Campaigns- Conceptualise and execute campaigns supporting brand objectives, product launches, and seasonal moments.
- Collaborate with Brand and Product teams to align social media activations with overall marketing strategies.
- Deliver measurable increases in conversion rates through product-led content strategies.
Influencer & Creator Management- Identify, brief, and manage influencers/content creators to ensure effective brand storytelling and campaign execution.
- Track and optimise influencer performance to drive engagement and conversions in influencer-led campaigns.
- Build long-term relationships with key creators for advocacy and ongoing partnerships.
Community Management & Engagement- Oversee community manager, ensuring timely responses, tone consistency, and best practices for audience engagement.
- Maintain high response rates and positive sentiment scores across channels.
- Implement strategies to foster a strong, loyal brand community.
Visual Merchandising & Seasonal Campaign Support- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to roll out seasonal campaigns and ad hoc activations across social channels.
- Optimise campaign assets for social media, enhancing visibility and engagement.
- Provide real-time support for events, ensuring maximum reach and impact.
Performance Tracking & Continuous Optimisation- Experience with performance ads for brand awareness across Meta and Tiktok.
- Develop and maintain a social media performance dashboard to track growth, engagement, and conversion metrics.
- Provide monthly reports with actionable insights to improve content strategy and campaign performance.
- Test and refine strategies consistently to improve key metrics, ensuring sustained growth and innovation.
- Budget management and reporting.
What You Have- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in social media management and 3 years of experience in social strategy.
- Proven track record delivering excellent social media content for brands.
- Obsession with social media and digital content; tuned into platform changes, trends and news.
- Experience in online reputation management practices.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Hootsuite, Sprout, Data Eye Q, Meltwater and Brandseye).
- Experience with project management tools and real-time digital comms platforms (Monday, Slack etc).
- Copywriting experience and ability to vet creative based on the audience and channel.
- Knowledge of retail and visual merchandising (VM) industry trends.
- An understanding of visual storytelling across fashion & lifestyle categories.
- Competitive analysis capabilities.
- Expertise in target audience insights and persona development.
Skills You Already Have- Expertise in analytics and reporting.
- Understanding of key metrics and KPIs.
- Experience with A/B testing and optimisation.
- Familiarity with CRM integration.
