Job description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with 6-9 years of experience in Mainframe development. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in CardLink or VisionPLUS development and be well-versed in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM. Knowledge of Easytrieve is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities

Development Activities: Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work on development activities.
Banking Concepts: Understand and implement banking concepts, with a preference for experience in cards.
Acquiring Process: Must know the acquiring process.
Scheduling Tools: Be knowledgeable in any scheduling tools.
Compliance: Good to know about compliance requirements.

Requirements

6-9 years of experience in Mainframe development.
Prior experience with CardLink or VisionPLUS development.
Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM.
Knowledge of Easytrieve is a plus.
Strong understanding of banking concepts, preferably in cards.
Familiarity with the acquiring process.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience in the banking and financial services industry is preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
