Position: Senior Electrical Engineer

Working Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM

Qualifications:

1. Recognized Bachelor’s or Postgraduate Degree in Electrical Engineering
2. 4-5 years of experience in Engineering Consultancy or Construction Industry
3. Experience in Data Centre Design & Commissioning is a plus
4. Strong electrical power system knowledge in MV and LV design
5. Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
6. Ability to think critically, organize, and deliver projects on schedule
7. Exposure to design phase, contract administration, testing & commissioning, electrical safety, and quality management
8. Eligible for Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) registration as a Professional Engineer or PEPC
9. BIM skills or ATD accreditation are added advantages

Role Description:

1. Act as an M&E Design Consultant for Data Center projects, from feasibility studies to conceptual design
2. Design & develop technical solutions for client projects
3. Produce, coordinate, and review M&E design drawings & specifications
4. Conduct workshop drawing reviews and perform regular onsite quality checks
5. Oversee Testing & Commissioning plans, including factory and onsite tests
6. Liaise with regulatory authorities for approval submissions & installations
7. Travel as required for project needs (Klang Valley area)
8. Attend all project meetings
9. Ensure project closure and prepare handover documents
