Project Engineer

We are a leading firm in the Engineering and Construction sector, specializing in innovative solutions for Electrical, Low Voltage, and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems. Our projects span across diverse sectors, including commercial, residential, and industrial. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer with a background in ELV systems to join our dynamic team. The role requires frequent outstation travel and candidates must have their own transportation.

Role Overview:

As a Project Engineer specializing in ELV /M&E systems, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and management of integrated ELV solutions across various projects. You will collaborate with the design team, contractors, and clients to ensure the successful execution of project deliverables while adhering to technical specifications, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Drafting: Create detailed AutoCAD drawings for ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, public address, and data networks.
2. Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of ELV &M&E projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and cost estimates.
3. Coordination: Liaise with various project stakeholders, including internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, to ensure seamless project delivery.
4. Site Supervision: Provide technical support and supervision on-site to ensure ELV system installation is carried out in accordance with the design specifications.
5. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to ELV systems during design, implementation, or post-installation.
6. Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
7. Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including drawings, reports, and technical specifications.

Required Qualifications:

1. Educational Background: At least Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
2. Experience: Fresh graduates will be welcome; 2 years of experience in ELV/M&E industrial will be an advantage.
3. AutoCAD Proficiency: Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD for creating system layouts, schematics, and as-built drawings.
4. Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of ELV systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems, etc.).
5. Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing engineering projects from conception to completion.
6. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.
7. Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in working with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) contractors.
2. Knowledge of ELV systems.
