Quality Assurance Test Engineer

• ONSITE KL AREA

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing and executing automated tests, as well as reporting and resolving defects.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software testing, automation tools and frameworks, and software development life cycle. You should also have excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Design, develop and execute automated test cases using various tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
• Identify, report and track software defects and bugs using defect management tools, such as Jira, Bugzilla, etc.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance and usability testing on web and mobile applications.
• Review and analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team.
• Create and maintain test documentation, such as test plans, test cases, test scripts, test reports, etc.
• Research and evaluate new testing technologies and tools.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-up, retrospective, etc.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Test Engineer or a similar role.

Experience in automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.

Experience in defect management tools, such as Jira, Bugzilla, etc.

Experience in web and mobile testing, including cross-browser and cross-platform testing.

Knowledge of software development life cycle, agile methodologies and testing techniques.

Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, Python, C#, etc.

Knowledge of SQL and database testing.

Knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.

Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
