Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Finance Assistant to work for a company in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

Role: Finance Assistant

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire

Hours: 8:30 – 17:00 (Flexibility for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:

• Contacting Customers (approx. 250 per month)
• Resolving queries
• Sending Reminder/Final demand Letters
• Reviewing customer credit limits
• Creating new customer accounts
• Allianz Insurance – reporting overdue customers/customers for intervention/requesting credit limits
• Completing weekly Aged Analysis reports
• Attend weekly meetings with Finance Manager to discuss Aged Analysis report
• Taking Credit Card Payments
• Cash Allocation
• Bank Reconciliations GBP, USD, EUR

• Ability to work in a demanding and deadline-driven environment
• Good internal and external relationship skills
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Prepared to involve themselves in all aspects of the business
• Ability to self-start and self-manage – prioritizing workload and time management
• Team player
