Job Description

Duties and tasks of the Finance Assistant:

  • Collating invoices from multisite locations
  • Processing invoices, nominal coding and matching to delivery notes
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Reconciling invoices to different departments
  • Processing and tracking expenses
  • Preparation and processing of payment runs
  • Handling supplier queries and resolving them
  • Cash, credit card and direct debit reconciliations

The Successful Applicant

As the successful Finance Assistant, you will have:

  • An understanding of debits and credits
  • Sales ledger and purchase ledger experience
  • Familiarity with accounting systems and Excel
