Job description

We’re working with a successful and growing media company to add a Finance Assistant to their team based in Liverpool.

Our Client

We are working with a well established and highly successful media company based in Liverpool. The business continues to grow and there are excellent career development opportunities. They are looking for a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Manager.

The Role

Responsibilities are interesting and wide ranging, from purchase and sales ledger duties, to credit control and bank reconciliations. A key element is the preparation of monthly management accounts.

You

The company uses Xero and Salesforce, but training will be given on both these systems if you don’t have experience of them. Strong Microsoft Excel experience is needed along with organisation and communication skills and excellent attention to detail. You should be a good team player, looking to be part of a friendly team of professionals. Some experience of preparing monthly financial statements is necessary, the company are happy to develop these skills further, but you will need to demonstrate you are familiar with this element of the role. The role is office based but following probation you can work from home 1 day per week if desired.
