Finance Assistant
Location: Bury St Edmunds, UK Type: Temp to Perm Vacancy Pay: £28,000.00 - £30,000.00 Per Year Reference: 25-00258 Hybrid – Based in Bury St Edmunds, UK - Full-time

Who is our client?
Our client is a well-established, award-winning technology company operating within the real estate industry. With over a decade of experience and partnerships in 23 countries, they support some of the world’s most iconic retail real estate brands.
Their innovative platform acts as the central operating system for retail property management—streamlining operations, enhancing communication, and driving engagement between landlords and tenants.
As they continue to scale, they're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance and Operations Assistant to join their collaborative, forward-thinking team.

What You'll Do
  1. Working closely with the Group Finance Manager, you’ll support finance operations and administrative functions that are key to the company’s success.
  2. Finance Responsibilities
  3. Set up new customers across systems (QuickBooks, Maxio, HubSpot)
  4. Issue sales invoices and customer statements
  5. Conduct credit control and manage debtor follow-up
  6. Resolve customer queries and match incoming payments
  7. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
  8. Provide holiday cover for other finance team members
  9. Office Support
  10. Assist the CFO and Group Finance Manager with health & safety compliance
  11. Support contract administration and internal processes across teams
  12. Provide cover for colleagues during annual leave or short absences
  13. Help organise internal team gatherings and social activities
What We're Looking For
  1. Experience or qualifications in finance, office admin, or accounting
  2. Comfortable working with accounting systems and spreadsheets (Google Sheets experience is a plus)
  3. Excellent attention to detail and time management
  4. Confident communicator—both written and verbal
  5. Full UK driving licence (due to office location)
  6. Discreet and professional when handling sensitive data
