Electrical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:- Assemble, install, maintain, test, and repair a wide range of electrical plant and associated components.
- Conduct in-service inspection & testing of electrical equipment (PAT) in line with compliance requirements.
- Perform fixed testing as per regulation requirements for all units.
- Carry out general commercial electrical maintenance.
- Work at height to access warehouse areas for electrical repairs/installations.
- Liaise with external contractors for larger electrical projects when required.
- Address and resolve any electrical defects identified in external inspection reports.
- Undertake breakdown maintenance on facility equipment.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure smooth operation of all facilities equipment.
- Utilise tools ranging from common hand & power tools to precision measuring instruments.
- Provide feedback on external H&S Compliance reports; organise resolutions and update maintenance schedules.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:- Qualified in commercial electrical installations: Level 3 City & Guilds (2391, 2394 & 2395)
- AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Demonstrable experience as a commercial electrician.
- Experience in building maintenance repairs and the ability to work independently.
- Strong understanding of statutory and non-statutory documents.
- Familiarity with Guidance Notes 1-8, BS7671 On Site Guide, and BS7671 Regulations.
