Job description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Isleworth – £45,000

Location: Isleworth
Salary: £45,000 + Plenty of Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading facilities management company at a large and unique site in Isleworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking to develop within the commercial building maintenance sector.

The Role: As the sole on-site engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive M&E maintenance across the complex. You’ll need strong electrical skills (C&G/NVQ qualified) and hands-on experience in commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across the site
  2. Handle electrical maintenance including lighting, wiring, testing, alarms, BMS, and lighting systems
  3. Minor plumbing tasks including work on toilets, drainage, tiling, and sinks
  4. Fault-finding and maintenance of systems such as AHUs, FCUs, UPS, generators, and LV systems
  5. Carry out lamp and ballast changes, emergency light testing, and general electrical upkeep
  6. Respond to emergency callouts as needed

Requirements:

  1. City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or Mechanical equivalent)
  2. Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
  3. Strong fault-finding skills and technical knowledge across M&E disciplines
  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  5. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
