Job description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Leeds
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 basic + overtime
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week

We're working with a well-established engineering business looking to add an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to their team.

This is a full-time, hands-on role that will see you involved in both electrical installations and repair work across a range of industrial equipment and sites — with a strong focus on automation systems.

What you'll need:

  1. Qualified Electrical Engineer (Apprenticeship, NVQ, or similar)
  2. At least 4 years' experience in a similar role
  3. Strong background in electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding
  4. Hands-on experience with automation systems and PLCs (fault-finding/programming an advantage)
  5. Willingness to work some weekends and travel/stay away when required (fully expensed)
