A multi-award-winning manufacturer of consumable goods who have been operating for over 60 years and supplying bespoke equipment internationally across 70 countries. The business is family owned and utilises the latest technology and innovative manufacturing systems with an extensive customer portfolio across the UK. On the back of its success and growth, they are now seeking a Service Engineer to join their service team.

A Service Engineer is now required to join the team on a permanent basis to work at various customer sites across the UK (Midlands Region).

You will take responsibility for:

1. Carrying out the service, repair, and installation of beverage machines across UK customer sites (within an 80-mile radius of Birmingham).
2. Diagnosing and correcting errors on the machines.
3. Fault finding, and interrogation of PLC programs using Siemens' S5 and S7.
4. Undertaking maintenance of machines and identifying any parts required.

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

1. Experience maintaining and servicing electrically and mechanically on consumable goods or similar machinery.
2. Electro-Mechanical Maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong analytical, root cause and problem-solving skills.
4. Full valid driving license.

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

1. Previous experience working in a field service role would be highly advantageous.
2. Previous experience of servicing/repairing coffee machines or similar would be desirable.

Working Monday to Friday with a salary of £30,000-£35,000, including company vehicle and phone, with overtime available (most of the team earning £35,000 - £40,000).
