Mobile Paint / SMART Repair Technician

Are you an experienced body shop technician, painter, or wheel technician looking for a new challenge in and around the Leeds, Bradford, and surrounding Yorkshire area? If the answer is YES, then you could be just the person we are looking for!

Automotive Repair Systems is one of the largest independent Mobile SMART Repair companies in the UK with over 120 Mobile SMART Repair Technicians. Due to our structured expansion programme, we are now looking to hire an additional Mobile Paint / Wheel SMART Repair Technician to service our Insurance Customers' SMART Repair needs via our sister company Go SMART Repair Ltd.

The successful candidate will provide Mobile SMART Paint Repair services on a regular basis to our Insurance customers based in and around Leeds and Bradford. There is excellent earning potential. We expect all Mobile SMART Repair Technicians to have a valid UK driving licence, be physically fit, well presented, friendly, customer-focused, and most importantly, work to a high standard!

Successful applicants should expect to work Monday to Friday. A fully stocked and equipped van will be provided so that mobile repairs can be carried out.

Additional requirements are as follows:

1. A self-motivated individual able to work on their own initiative
2. Minimum 4 years' paint experience (preferably ATA/IMI/QAA and working to PAS 125 formats)
3. Ability to paint a minimum of 2 vertical panels and blend
4. Great attention to detail
5. Customer-facing experience in former roles
6. Good command of English and Maths required
7. Prepared to travel to the homes of our customers on a daily basis
8. Able to be flexible with hours occasionally as our customers require
9. Great timekeeper

All prospective technicians would be expected to undertake a half-day technical assessment at our Regional Centre in Liverpool before any offer is made. Following this, further training would be given to understand our full processes, procedures, and technical requirements.
