Maintenance Engineer duties:

1. Carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance to keep machinery operating smoothly.

4. Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to keep equipment in peak condition.
5. Working as part of a team to continuously improve processes and efficiency.
6. Enhance the machine's reliability through regular planned preventative maintenance.
7. Troubleshooting on electrical equipment is a must.

The successful Maintenance Engineer ideally will have experience with food process machinery and will have some of the following qualifications:

1. BTECH/ONC qualification as a minimum in an Electrical discipline or Multi-skilled Engineering qualification.
2. C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro-technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance.
3. Time served apprentice, HNC level in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering.
