We are looking for skilled professionals with experience in Planned and Reactive Maintenance on plant equipment within the HVAC, Power, Water, or Oil & Gas industries. If you are mechanically and electrically adept, with a problem-solving mindset, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

This company specialises in designing and delivering cutting-edge District Heating Systems and has recently secured several high-profile projects. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their dynamic team.

The Role

1. Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance on equipment including pumps, pressurisation units, and heat exchangers.
2. Attend reactive callouts to restore heating and resolve plant failures (pumps, degassers, boilers, etc.).
3. Service and repair commercial plant equipment while identifying root causes of failures.
4. Conduct pipework repairs, including crimping, soldering, and plastic welding when necessary.

The Person

1. Strong communication skills.
2. Experience in Mechanical and Electrical maintenance within a relevant industry, such as District Heating.
3. NVQ Level 2-3 or equivalent qualification.
4. Excellent problem-solving ability and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
5. Experience liaising with third parties, including contractors and clients.
6. Willingness to travel within the South East and respond to occasional callouts.
